Go to the directory where your emulator is installed. There should be a folder there called "roms."
If not, create one. Put the roms (in zip form) into that folder.
Start up your emulator.
Hit F5 and let it refresh. Close the emulator (to "save") and then start it back up again.
Done! Click on the game of your choice and start playing.
Now of course your emulator has to actually support the roms you are using and the roms have to be CORRECT (meaning properly named, no missing files, etc). You can download and run a "r0m manager" program like ClrMame Pro to test the files you have.
Anyway it's pretty easy once you do it once.
