I know that you need an shell account to run a server but the thing is that I just want to create a small server where I can play with my friend. The server will be only up when I want to play a game with my friend using kailler client. Most servers lag for me and i usually get desynched not while after the game starts. So is there a way to create my own server on my comp? (Only me and my friend will play in the server so I don't think it will require big bandwidth)

Er.. Download the kaillera server zip file in the download section. Open the kaillera config file with wordpad. READ it. Edit it. Click on the kailleraserv.exe. Give your ip to your friend. Your set.

I used those exact instructions and my server was visible on the list but i couldnt connect to it. any reason why this would happen?
