Thanks to everyone who participated in the name/logo contest. We've reached a decision, which some of you unfortunately may not like, but we also have good news.

I'll start with the good news: thanks to W4RH34D of http://www.internet-multiplay.co.uk, we have a place to host our page and files, which will be created and released soon. We also have a forum, where anyone who wishes to continue this thread, or discuss other matters related to the project should post. I don't wish to impose further on the Kaillera forums.

Now, the results of the contest.

We enjoyed your submissions, and for the most part they were quite good. Unfortunately we've decided that none of the logos are quite what we're looking for. If this is anyone's fault, it's our own for not considering in detail ahead of time what exactly we wanted for a logo.

With that said, the name we've chosen for the project is: Mithras.

We've also decided to hold one more contest, to design a logo for this name. Rules and guidelines for submissions will be posted on our new forums, available here: http://cgi.smashuk.free-online.co.uk/forum_viewtopic.php?10.6.

We thank you again for your submissions and support, and look forward to seeing those yet to come. We hope you're not too disappointed. If you are, I'd be happy to let you flame me all you wish, just please post it in an appropriate place.

Hehe, i had a feeling that none of the logos that we made were going to be chosen from the start. Thats why i didnt put much effort into my logo. well anyways, i hope that someone would use mithras and make a nice logo for it. I personally think it would be cool without any sprites of any game at all. It should be original kinda like kaillera has today. thats what I think. Ill probably stay in these forums for now and just lurk the Mithras forums from time to time like i do other forums, hehe.

I have a feeling that's going to result in much lower-quality images, since it limits special effects to the program one chooses to use and their drawing ability. But I'll get to it.

as i stated, i will be here to see what is said about me, i will no longer comment on it publicly, but i will make my voice heard, as well as know.i am, and always have been, here for the kaillera and the better ment of it.i have no intentions of flaming, so long as others cary the same respect.toqer as im sure no one else saw my feelings towards you, let us keep them, between us, it was honest oppinion, and nothing more, i said what i felt or saw, and that was all, there wa no ned to ban me . i have returned simply to congadulate mystiq, although my feelings towards him are likely obvious to the rest of the ppl here, i must say , his name was picked, and it looks good when used to make a logo.i will be making another submission using his name as the rules said to do so.mine will be simple like my last one, and it will contain icon images as well i will have the links on the other forum. thank you for your time ppl of kaillera.
