-C and I are cool with each other now. He quit working for AOL/TW, so that doesn't really make him a sellout now does it? I'm not speaking for him, but i'm not expecting kaillera to be updated anytime soon (or ever) and you shouldn't get your hopes up so high either.

I think everybody has just moved on. Old games are just a novelty as best. It's cool to visit the past, but it's not cool to live in it.

Well, I have no problem with Toq being a moderator here if he wants it, he has only but to ask.

I take that back. Due to a glitch in this (crappy) board software, I can't promote new moderators.

Etai (the new owner) will either have to reinstall the forum software, upgrade to a new version, fix the server controls (or whatever) or upgrade us to new forum software (such as the far superior vbulletin).

So as of this moment I'm the only active moderator on kaillera forums.

And since I'm in grad school I'm also pretty danged busy. So apart from banning/deleting the odd russian spammer, I don't spend much time here these days.

Once we get a new forum/forum fixed, one of the first thing's we'll do is get some dedicated trustworthy, old fogey people moderating.

When that happens of course, is up to Etai.

I can't make you a mod until the forums are either fixed or upgrade. The software won't let me as of now, since there's a script error or corruption.

I'm locking this topic some the main questions have been answered. Please feel free to discuss it (flame free) in another topic.

[ Edit: July 10, 2007. Well, we can FINALLY put this thread to rest for good. We have new forums, a new owner, new downloads, and new moderators to help us run things now. As we work out the kinks in the new board and learn how it works, things should be better than ever here on Kaillera.com. Thanks for your long suffering patience everyone! ]
