MAME PLUS PLUS 0.115 with Kaillera

The new MAME Plus Plus has been released. Incase any of you do not know, this mame supports the plugins from the Zinc Emulator. What does that mean you say.... It means that you can play the PSX games in mame full speed on a halfway decent computer on kaillera.

This mame supports all of the games 0.64k supports and many many more!
Below are only a few of the new games that you can play with this version. There is no reason for everyone to continue to use 0.64k. We should all move to this version!!

Extract the folders pack into your mame 0.115 root directory then run mame and configure the PSX plugins.

Last but not least... You need to copy your Kaillera DLL file to the root of the mame 115 folder.. The kaillera DLL is not supplied in the downlaod so you will not be able to play online unless you do this.

To chat while in game Press the "Home" key. in 0.64 you needed to press "T"

Kurgan - Do you have access to post this on the front page of this site or know who can post this on the front page? Also, I have done some testing with a friend in the past but would like to do more testing with this version...

After we do additional testing I would like to come up with an official list of the benifits of this mame over 0.64 and also a list of how to swap controlls in game, chat in game etc.

One thing to remember is that mame does not use XOR's for the CPS2 games anymore so all CPS2 roms need to be updated to work with this version and all newer versions.

Here is what you need to do in order to get this emulator working correctly.

1. Download the emulator from the above link
2. Extract the RAR file to a folder
3: Downlaod the Folders Pack from the link above
4. Extract the files and folders in folder pack to the Mame 0.115 folder
5. Copy your kaillera.dll file to the root of the mame 0.115 folder.
6. Start up your new mame and be sure to configure the PSX plugins for the PSX games.
7. Update your ROMS to the latest version 0.115 (All CPS2 ROMS NEED UPDATE)
